Senior Chemical Purchaser (80 – 100%)

Your mission

• Contribute to the development and implementation of a forward-looking procurement strategy
• Independently lead price, contract, and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk (NL) production site
• Monitor and analyze forecasts and conduct actual-versus-target evaluations across the Kolb Group
• Manage contracts within the SAP MM module, with a particular focus on the Moerdijk site
• Support and further develop the contract management tool
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials
• Contribute to the development of contingency and supply security concepts
• Act as the operational deputy to the Team Lead Chemical Procurement
• Lead and coordinate cross-site procurement projects
• Manage the strategic and operational sourcing of packaging materials for the Kolb Group
• Serve as a member of the SAP MM Core Team

Your profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent higher professional qualification
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally within the chemical industry
• Proven track record in international price and contract negotiations
• Excellent knowledge of SAP MM
• Experience in contract and supplier management
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• High level of initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
• Project management experience and the ability to provide functional leadership to project teams
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; Dutch and/or German is an advantage
• Strategic mindset with strong cross-functional thinking
• Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented approach to work
• Excellent communication skills and professional stakeholder management
• High degree of resilience and flexibility
• Enjoy working in an international environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 4-6 times per year (plants, suppliers, trade fairs)
